Editorial policy
How we choose topics, research and write guides, check facts, handle corrections and keep content up to date.
Who writes our guides
Guides focus on career development, job search and practical workplace technology. Meet the author on the author page.
Expert review
Health, fitness, skincare, parenting and money guides are reviewed by a qualified professional before they are published. The reviewer is named at the top of the article when a qualified review has taken place.
Facts and sources
- We prefer primary sources: official guidance, manufacturers and peer-reviewed research.
- We do not publish statistics we cannot trace to a source.
- Where evidence is mixed, we say so rather than picking a side.
Updates and corrections
We review guides regularly. When a guide changes in a meaningful way we show an “Updated” date. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it and note the change.
Independence
Advertisers and partners have no say over what we write. If a guide ever includes a sponsored or affiliate link, it will be clearly labelled.
General information only
Our guides are for general information. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, financial adviser or other professional who knows your situation.
